Binghamton, NY (January 25, 2019) – A pedestrian is currently recovering from injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle on Thursday morning, January 24. The accident was reported to have happened at around 11:00 a.m. on Jarvis Street near the Mirabito gas station at 215 Clinton Street in Binghamton.
According to authorities, the collision took place for reasons that have not been confirmed but prompted responses from both law enforcement and emergency medical crews. While there has been no word as to the cause of the accident or the events that led to the victim being struck, paramedics confirmed that they had transported to the injured party to a local hospital.
Emergency responders verified that the extent of the victims’ injuries has been listed as minor at this time. Authorities stated that the driver of the vehicle involved will likely be facing charges for their role in the crash but no further details have been provided.
