About
Amanda Lyons is a Partner and personal injury attorney at Hach & Rose Injury Attorneys.
Amanda’s story is one of hard work, perseverance, and deep understanding of the client experience. She began her career at the firm as a receptionist, becoming one of the first voices clients heard when calling for help after an accident. Through determination and dedication, she moved through nearly every department at the firm, serving as a paralegal, office manager, attorney, and managing attorney before becoming Partner.
A native New Yorker, Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she developed a strong foundation in justice and public service. She later earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, preparing her for a career advocating for injured New Yorkers.
Having grown up in Staten Island and built her legal career in New York City, she understands the unique needs of local families and takes pride in helping members of her community navigate difficult moments with trusted legal guidance.
Her commitment to helping others extends beyond the courtroom. She is the founder of a grassroot, nonprofit organization, "Amanda Donates," and is a recipient of the Root-Stimson Award; an honor recognizing New York attorneys for outstanding commitment to community service and volunteerism and who exemplify public service and meaningful contributions to their communities.
Amanda understands the importance of local community and responsive legal guidance. She knows that clients are not case files. They are parents, workers, spouses, and individuals whose lives have suddenly been interrupted by injury.
Having worked on cases from intake through litigation and resolution, she understands every stage of the legal process and the importance of making injured clients feel supported every step of the way. Her unique journey gives her an uncommon perspective as a personal injury attorney. Her experience allows her to advocate strategically while never losing sight of the human side of every case.
Whether someone has been injured in a car accident, truck accident, slip/trip and fall, workplace incident or other serious accident caused by someone's negligence, Amanda understands the uncertainty clients face after an injury; medical bills begin to pile up, work may be missed, and families are often left wondering what happens next. She believes clients deserve more than legal representation. They deserve an attorney who listens, communicates, and genuinely cares about helping them rebuild.
For Amanda, being a personal injury lawyer for Staten Islanders and New Yorkers means more than handling claims. It means standing beside clients during one of the hardest times in their lives and helping them move forward with confidence.
When clients work with Amanda, they gain an attorney who combines compassionate client care, strategic advocacy and real-life experience every step of the way.
