NEW YORK, NY – Hach & Rose, LLP congratulates Halina Radchenko on becoming the 54th president of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA). She was sworn in today by the Honorable Anthony Cannataro at the 54th Annual Installation of Officers and Directors held at Harbor NYC. For over 60 years, NYSTLA has worked to protect New York’s civil justice system, fighting against initiatives that threaten to limit the rights of injured consumers. Their mission is “to promote a safer and healthier society, to assure access to the civil justice system by those who are wrongfully injured and to advance representation of the public by ethical, well-trained lawyers.”
Previously Halina was elected to NYSTLA’s Board of Directors and also served as an officer. She has served on the organization’s automotive committee, municipal committee, and judicial committee. She was also the chair of the New Lawyers Committee which was integral to membership and recruiting newly admitted attorneys to the association.
“As I was growing up, I knew I wanted to help people. When it came time for me to choose a career path, I was drawn to representing accident victims to help others achieve justice,” Halina said in her remarks during the swearing in ceremony. “As president, I will have even more opportunities to give back to our community. It will be my priority to educate our elected officials about injustices and to seek broad changes that would correct these wrongs. I will do everything in my power to make this organization proud in the upcoming year.”
“We are very proud of Halina’s accomplishments and know that she will achieve even more as president of NYSTLA,” said attorney Michael Rose, managing partner of Hach & Rose, LLP. “NYSTLA is an important organization that affects real change for New York residents. We look forward to seeing what NYSTLA achieves with Halina at the helm.”
