West Point, NY – Cadet Killed and 22 People Injured in Accident at Training Camp West Point, NY (June 6, 2019) –Tragically, one cadet was killed while another 22 individuals suffered injuries after a vehicle crashed on Thursday morning, June 6
th. According to the U.S. Military Academy, a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle was traveling along a dirt road off Route 293 when it overturned at approximately 6:45 a.m. According to authorities, the accident occurred near Camp Natural Bridge, which is an area where training generally takes place. The exact cause of the accident has not been determined at this time. However, authorities stated that emergency medical crews transported all 22 injured parties to various hospitals. At this time, officials have not released the name of the deceased individual and the identities of the injured victims have also been withheld.
