About
Marc Schauer is an attorney at Hach & Rose, LLP, representing clients in motor vehicle accident and premises liability matters throughout New York and New Jersey. With more than a decade of litigation experience, he focuses on serious injury cases and oversees the firm’s negotiation department, working to position cases for strong and timely resolutions.
Mr. Schauer began his career advocating for injured individuals before spending time at prominent defense firms representing insurance carriers, including LBBS and Wade Clark Mulcahy. That experience provided him with firsthand insight into how insurers evaluate, defend, and attempt to limit personal injury claims. Today, he uses that knowledge to anticipate defense strategies and advocate effectively for his clients.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Schauer has secured numerous substantial settlements, including a $2.1 million recovery for a pedestrian struck in a motor vehicle collision involving the City of New York and the NYPD, an $800,000 settlement in a multi-party collision involving Uber, and a $983,000 recovery in a crossover motor vehicle crash. He has handled and resolved hundreds of injury claims and is known for moving cases forward efficiently while maintaining consistent communication with his clients.
Mr. Schauer is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He earned his law degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he graduated with honors, and his undergraduate degree is from Ramapo College.
He is committed to helping injured individuals stand up to large insurance companies and believes that strong client communication and teamwork are essential to achieving meaningful results. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and following the New York Mets.
