W. New York, NY: Five Minors Victimized by N.J. Child Pornographer Western New York, NY (May 20, 2019) – In federal court, five minors from the western New York area have found themselves the victims of child pornography and cyberstalking. 34-year-old Timothy Myers, of Freehold, NJ, has been accused of going after girls as young as 12-years-old via Facebook. The incidents were made public on Monday, May 20
th. According to authorities, Myers attempted to persuade young girls to send him explicit photos and videos between December 2016 and August 2017. Myers was reported to have threatened the girls with exploitation in the event that they decided not to send him inappropriate materials. Additionally, Myers enticed a 16-year-old by claiming that he was only 19. The suspect also went on to make false statements to the parents of the 16-year-old and he was subsequently arrested following an investigation. Myers has been indicted on 29 counts of production, receipt, and distribution of child pornography, as well as sexual enticement of minors and cyberstalking.
