Lima, NY (February 2, 2019) – New York State Police have been working on their investigation into a fatal accident where one man lost his life on Thursday in Livingston County.
59-year-old Stephen Robertson of Lima struck a snowdrift around 6:30 a.m. on Clay Street. His vehicle was involved in an accident with another, which caused him to strike a pole When police arrived at the scene, he was discovered unresponsive in a Chevrolet Impala that ended up on the shoulder of the road.
Robertson was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. The investigation took place by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, a local fire department, and ambulance resources.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.

Dryden, NY (February 1, 2019) – Authorities have released the identity of the man who was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident that took place along Turkey Hill Road on Tuesday night, January 29 in the town of Dryden. Following an investigation, police were able to report that 54-year-old Michael S. English was the man who had been struck and killed near the intersection with Stevenson Road.
Pittsford, NY (February 1, 2019) – Emergency medical crews accompanied police at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that was reported to have occurred on Friday afternoon, February 1, for reasons that have not been determined. According to police, the crash happened at around 4:31 p.m. at an intersection in Pittsford.
Watertown, NY (February 1, 2019) – At around 8:40 a.m. Friday morning, February 1, police reported that a sheriff’s deputy suffered injuries after a two-vehicle crash along Arsenal Street in Watertown. The accident was stated to have occurred at the intersection with Bellew Avenue.
Kew Gardens Hills, NY (February 1, 2019) – A fire broke out at a home in Queens that sadly claimed the life of a woman who lived at the residence. The fatal blaze was reported to have started at around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday night, January 31, at a house located at 60th Avenue and 148th Street in the Kew Gardens Hills section of the city.
Greece, NY (February 1, 2019) – On Friday afternoon, February 1, police were dispatched to the location of a car accident that resulted in injuries on Ridgeway Avenue in the town of Greece. According to authorities, the accident occurred at around 4:44 p.m. for reasons that are likely to be under investigation at this time.
