Dunkirk, NY – Woman Taken to Hospital After Hit by Neighbor’s Firework
Dunkirk, NY (July 5, 2019) – A fireworks accident that happened on Thursday, the Fourth of July, left a woman injured in the town of Dunkirk, according to authorities. Police stated that a woman was hit with a firework on Bayshore Drive at approximately 10:15 p.m.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim was struck by a firework that her next door neighbor had lit. Police and emergency medical crews were immediately called to the scene. where they transported the injured woman to Erie County Medical Center. The exact condition of the victim has not been stated, and there has been no word concerning precisely where on the head or body she was struck.
