Staten Island, NY – One Person Injured in Apartment Fire

Staten Island, NY (June 28, 2019) – On Friday morning, June 28th, an apartment fire broke out at a building located at 800 Victory Boulevard. The fire was reported to have started at 8:44 a.m. for reasons that are currently being investigated.

According to officials, approximately 60 FDNY personnel, along with 12 units, were eventually able to knock down the “all hands” fire by 9:10 a.m. While the cause of the blaze is unknown at this time, emergency medical crews were called to the scene, where they attended to one civilian with at least minor injuries.

Authorities at the scene have not released the identity of the injured party, nor the severity of those injuries. No further information has been provided.
