Springville, NY – One Killed and One Injured After Vehicle Slams into Four People
Springville, NY (June 26, 2019) – According to officials from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal pedestrian accident took place around 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26th, in the town of Springville. Authorities stated that the incident happened in the parking lot of an auction house located on West Main Street in the village.
An unspecified vehicle was reported to have struck four people who were in the parking lot at the time for uncertain reasons. Emergency medical crews were sent to the scene shortly after the incident, where they treated two people for minor injuries. A third victim was transported to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries to the lower body. The fourth victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center, where, tragically, they were later pronounced deceased.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit is currently in charge of the investigation into this incident and no identities have been released at this time.
