Newburgh, NY – One Killed and Several Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash

Newburgh, NY (June 20, 2019) – Police in the town of Newburgh are actively investigating the cause of a fatal multi-vehicle crash that took place on Wednesday afternoon, June 19th, at approximately 1:40 p.m. The collision, which happened along Route 9W, just north of Lattintown Road in the Middlehope section of Newburgh, resulted in one fatality and several injuries, according to police.

Authorities stated that at least three vehicles were involved in the crash, which prompted an immediate response from emergency medical crews and police. Paramedics at the scene were able to confirm that one person was deceased due to their injuries and that several others were hurt. However, neither the identities nor the exact number of people involved in the crash has been released.
