Huguenot, NY – Staten Island Crash Results in Person Pinned and Injured

Huguenot, NY (June 20, 2019) – During a car crash that took place on Wednesday evening, June 19th, a motorist became pinned, subsequently suffering injuries as a result. According to authorities, the accident happened around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Huguenot Avenue in Huguenot, Staten Island.

Police stated that one vehicle flipped over, although it is currently unclear as to whether or not another car was involved. The severe damage to the vehicle caused the driver to become trapped inside. Police and emergency responders were promptly called to the scene.

Firefighters were able to extricate the injured driver from the vehicle, at which point the motorist was promptly transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.
