Tribes Hill, NY – Trooper Hurt in Montgomery County Crash Over Weekend

Tribes Hill, NY (June 18, 2019) – A state trooper was reported to have suffered injuries following a motor vehicle accident that took place Saturday morning, June 15th. The collision took place around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Stoner Trail Road and Route 5, in the area of Mohawk.

According to authorities, the trooper car in question had been responding to a call with its lights and sirens activated. While attending to the incident, the trooper car then collided with another vehicle.

Emergency medical responders were called to the scene, where Trooper Rosalie Clark was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital to be treated. The driver of the other vehicle, identified as Harry E. Woods, 39, of Waterford, was transported to Albany Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. The official cause of the collision is being investigated.
