Redfield, NY – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on County Route 27

Redfield, NY (June 15, 2019) – On Sunday, around 7:12 p.m., a fatal motorcycle accident took place on County Route 27 that took one life.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene of the accident, where they found that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle had been traveling northbound, where it ended up crashing as it drove off the side of the road.

The driver was identified as 70-year-old Paul Johnson, who was injured and taken to the hospital. The female passenger was identified as 60-year-old Deborah Richards, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Police are not sure of what circumstances led up to the accident but they continue to investigate at this time.
