Brooklyn, NY – Hit-and-Run Driver Slams into Vehicle on 24th Avenue
Brooklyn, NY (June 8, 2019) – According to police, on Monday afternoon a hit-and-run driver slammed into a minivan trying to make its way onto 24th Avenue. It then slammed into a parked car next to the sidewalk before fleeing the scene.
There were three occupants in the minivan, identified as a mother and her young son and infant. The hit-and-run driver fled the scene but his front license plate came off and was instantly recovered by police.
The woman claimed that she had been driving her children home from school at that time. The vehicles had bad damage to them.
There were injuries reported but, luckily, they were minor. An ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident.
Police continue their search for the driver and their investigation continues.
