Rosedale, Queens, NY – Police Identify Suspect in Rape of 78-Year-Old Woman
Rosedale, Queens, NY (June 3, 2019) – According to police, a 30-year-old man is currently wanted in connection to a rape that was reported to have taken place on Sunday morning, June 2nd. Police stated that the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Ryan Bayard entered a house in the vicinity of Brookville Boulevard and 148th Street, where he attacked a 78-year-old woman. The victim was reported to be sleeping inside her home at the time when Bayard forcibly raped her. Police were immediately called to the scene shortly afterward when Bayard then fled the area.
Police have described the suspect as five feet ten inches tall, and weighing around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.
