Albion, NY (May 21, 2019) – State police said that a corrections officer is now facing multiple sex crime charges as of Tuesday, May 21st, for allegedly sexually abusing inmates at Albion Correctional Facility. 26-year-old David Stupnick, of Medina, is being accused of multiple criminal sex acts following an investigation, according to police.

Authorities stated that Stupnick is being charged with four counts of sexual abuse, as well as two counts of official misconduct and two counts of a criminal sex act. Stupnick is accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with at least two female inmates while he was employed as a corrections officer at Albion Correctional Facility.

Police have stated that Stupnick is due back in court in June but no further information has been provided at this time.
