Ardsley, NY – Bus Accident on Thruway Leads to Injuries in Driver and Student
Ardsley, NY (May 4, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a bus accident that took place at 1:53 p.m. on Wednesday on the Thruway in the area of Ashford Avenue. The New York State Police responded to the scene of the accident.
At the time of the accident, the bus left the roadway and jumped the guardrail, then rolling off the roadway.
Both occupants in the vehicle were able to get out of the bus and only escaped with minor injuries. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police say that the bus was from the Union Free School District in Tarrytown. Emergency responders helped out at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
