West Henrietta, NY – Six People Hospitalized Following Head-On Crash
West Henrietta, NY (May 2, 2019) – A head-on collision between a Jeep and an ARC of Monroe County bus took place Thursday morning, May 2nd, and resulted in the hospitalization of six people. The crash was reported to have happened along Middle Road near Rush Henrietta Townline Road at approximately 7:30 a.m.
Deputies stated that the bus involved had crossed the center line of the road in an attempt to avoid hitting runners on the shoulder when it subsequently struck the Jeep. Emergency medical crews were immediately called to the scene of the crash, where they transported both drivers along with four passengers on the bus to a local hospital. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening at this time, according to authorities.
Officials have stated that neither alcohol nor speed seem to be contributing factors and no charges have been filed. No further information has been made available.
