Brooklyn, NY – Five-Alarm Fire at Sushi Restaurant on Flatbush Avenue
Brooklyn, NY (April 21, 2019) – Firefighters, police, and other emergency responders arrived at the scene of a five-alarm fire that took place at a doctor’s office and sushi restaurant.
The fire, according to authorities, took place at 2118 Flatbush Avenue at the E Sushi restaurant. They claim that the incident happened at the roof of the building for reasons that are not yet known. Over 200 firefighters responded as the fire blazed out of control.
It took approximately three hours for the blaze to get under control and a handful of firefighters were injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by fire marshals.
