Massapequa Park, NY – Man Arrested for Child Pornography and Sex with 13-Year-Old Boy

Massapequa Park, NY (April 19, 2019) – Authorities in Massapequa Park have accused a man of possessing child pornography, as well as engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old boy. 26-year-old Matthew Veltri, of Massapequa Bay, was arraigned in Nassau County on Friday morning, April 19th, on six counts of possessing child pornography.

According to police, Veltri lives on Ocean Avenue, very close to a school. Following a tip from police in Pennsylvania, authorities conducted a search of Veltri’s home where they located at least six images of child pornography on his computer. The child victims on Veltri’s computer were boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13.

The tip from Pennsylvania police stemmed from a separate incident in which Veltri is wanted on charges of having sex with a 13-year-old boy in Hilltown, PA, on at least three occasions. Veltri will be extradited to Pennsylvania to face those charges as well.
