Gorham, NY – Woman Thrown from Vehicle During Two-Car Crash that Injured Two

Gorham, NY (April 17, 2019) – A severe collision between two vehicles was confirmed to have resulted in the injuries of two people involved on Tuesday night, April 16th. The accident was reported to have taken place at the intersection of Lake to Lake Road and County Road 18 at an unspecified time.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified male driver of one of the vehicles involved caused the collision while traveling west along Lake to Lake Road. Police stated that the driver failed to obey a stop sign at the aforementioned intersection, subsequently crashing into an SUV traveling along County Road 18.

The unidentified female driver of the SUV was thrown from the vehicle due to the impact of the crash. Emergency medical personnel was dispatched to the scene where they transported the female victim to a nearby hospital. She is currently being treated for a collapsed lung. The driver who caused the accident was stated to have suffered a hand injury during the collision. Authorities continue to investigate the events of this incident.
