Jamaica, NY – Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Liberty Avenue
Jamaica, NY (April 14, 2019) – Three people, including two police officers, were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard.
The accident, according to authorities, took place around 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Videos and photographs from the scene showed a police car with a smashed front-end. Police are not sure what caused the vehicles to collide with one another.
One cop received hip injuries and another was taken to the hospital with various minor injuries. Three people were taken to various hospitals including the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and Queens General Hospital Center.
There have been no arrests and police continue to investigate.
