Guilderland, NY – Car Accident Off of Kings Road
Guilderland, NY (April 14, 2019) – Yesterday, around 8:36 a.m., a section of Kings Road was closed down due to a car accident that closed the roadway.
Guilderland Police responded to the scene of the accident at 1375 Kings Road, where they found that an accident had taken place and a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole with the power lines still attached. The road was closed between East Old State Road and Curry Road for some time.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 47-year-old Robert Jones, who was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. He remains at Albany Medical Center at this time.
One person was arrested for drunk driving. The investigation into the accident continues.
