Crown Heights, NY – One Hospitalized After Brooklyn Crash Involving NYPD Officer
Crown Heights, NY (April 11, 2019) – At least one person was injured on Thursday morning, April 11th, in a collision involving an NYPD police vehicle. The crash was reported to have taken place around 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of Bergen Street and New York Avenue in the Crown Heights area.
According to fire officials, the crash, which is believed to have involved no more than two vehicles, happened at the intersection for reasons that are currently under investigation. Emergency medical crews accompanied police at the scene, where paramedics confirmed that one person was transported to Kings County Hospital. The extent of that persons’ injuries has not been reported at this time.
Police have not identified the injured party as no further information has been made available.
