Brooklyn Heights, NY – Construction Worker Killed After Fall from Roof in Brooklyn

Brooklyn Heights, NY (April 10, 2019) – A construction worker tragically lost his life after falling from a building on Pierrepont Street in the Brooklyn Heights on Wednesday morning, April 10th. The fatal accident was reported to have occurred while the victim, identified only as a 23-year-old man, was working around 11:00 a.m.

Authorities stated that that victim had been working with one other person on the roof of the 13-story building at the time of the incident. The two workers were reported to have been replacing bricks underneath a water tower on the roof when the victim fell for unknown reasons. The victim was found unconscious on the ground when police and paramedics arrived at the scene.

Unfortunately, the victim was immediately pronounced dead and his identity has not been released at this time. The investigation into the cause of this accident is currently under investigation.
