Rochester, NY – Pedestrian Accident on Lake Avenue Leads to Fatality
Rochester, NY (April 7, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident last night on Lake Avenue. The pedestrian involved has since been pronounced deceased.
The accident took place around 3:00 p.m., in the area of Lake Avenue and West Ridge Road. The driver had been traveling west at the time when a 26-year-old man walked in front of his car.
The 26-year-old has not yet been identified but he was conscious and breathing when he was transported to the Strong Hospital with serious injuries.
This morning, the Rochester Police Department confirmed that the pedestrian tragically passed away at the hospital. He has still not been identified.
Police continue their investigation of the accident.
