Trenton, NY – Man Dies During Massive Farm Fire
Trenton, NY (April 6, 2019) – State Police have identified a man who lost his life in a farm fire in Oneida County on Wednesday night as 93-year-old Henry Synakowski, Sr.
A family member came to the farm, found that he had been subjected to conditions with fire, and took him out of the barn where the fire had started. While outside, Synakowski collapsed.
Firefighters and EMS crews showed up at the scene to offer assistance and attempt to revive the man but they were unsuccessful in doing so.
Several fire departments attempted to put out the fire at the residence on Route 365 after it spread to the home from one of the barns. However, the fire led to destruction of all parts of the property.
At this time, the investigation into the fire is ongoing.
