Brooklyn, NY – Postal Service Worker Injured in Car Accident at 12th Avenue
Brooklyn, NY (April 6, 2019) – Police confirmed that a postal worker was injured in a car accident that took place when the worker’s vehicle was struck from behind.
The accident allegedly took place at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 44th Street and was captured by a surveillance camera in the area. A postal truck had been stopped in the middle of the street during work hours. Suddenly, a van lumbered up to the truck and did not stop in time, slamming into the back of the vehicle.
The driver of the van proclaimed that he did not know that the driver in the truck was not moving.
The postal worker was taken to the hospital with injuries but he is expected to be okay. At this time, the investigation continues.
