Williamstown, NY – Head-On Crash Involving Lift Boom Truck Claims Life of Pulaski Teen

Williamstown, NY (April 1, 2019) – A 19-year-old girl was tragically killed in a head-on collision between a vehicle and a lift boom truck that occurred Saturday night, March 30th. The crash was reported to have taken place around 11:45 p.m. on Route 13, east of County Route 19, according to authorities.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office stated that Mikayla E. Guile, 19, of Pulaski, was traveling along Route 13 in a Chevrolet Impala when 45-year-old Jeffery A. Carroll, of Little Rock, AR, entered the oncoming lane in a Dodge 5500. Carroll subsequently crashed head-on into Guile, prompting responses from police and emergency medical crews.

Authorities stated that Guile was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics immediately transported Carroll to Upstate Medical University in Syracuse via Northern Oswego County Ambulance. Carroll sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to keep right, and failure to wear a seatbelt. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
