Brooklyn, NY – Woman Killed in Fatal Accident on East 56th Street
Brooklyn, NY (March 31, 2019) – Police have identified the woman who was killed in a fatal accident on East 56th Street as 63-year-old Patricia Lancaster.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday when Lancaster was traveling south in a gray 2003 Chevy when her vehicle was suddenly struck by a second, unidentified vehicle.
Lancaster sustained a variety of severe injuries to her torso and was taken to the hospital in Brooklyn. However, while there, she was pronounced deceased.
The 19-year-old driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene after the accident, according to police. Police are not sure what caused the two vehicles to collide.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
