Clintondale, NY – Ulster County Woman Killed in House Fire on Crescent Avenue
Clintondale, NY (March 28, 2019) – According to authorities, a woman was tragically killed during a house fire that broke out at a home on Crescent Avenue Wednesday afternoon, March 27th. 49-year-old Theresa Korzeniecki was reported to have lost her life in the fire which broke out just after 12:00 p.m.
Police, firefighters, and emergency medical crews were immediately dispatched to the scene, where the blaze quickly spread to the second floor before it was extinguished. Authorities began their investigation and, at this time, it is believed that the fire began in the wall behind the refrigerator. According to investigators, no foul play is currently suspected.
Responders discovered Korzeniecki’s body and pronounced her dead at the scene. Authorities are likely to be continuing their investigation into the events that led to this incident.
