Milton, NY – Syracuse Man Arrested and Charged with Assault and Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Milton, NY (March 21, 2019) – On Thursday, March 21st, police arrested a Syracuse man who has been accused of driving to the town of Milton in order to engage in sexual contact with a minor who he met on Tinder. Francis Turzyn, 35, is currently being charged with sexual abuse, trespassing, criminal possession of a weapon, assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to authorities.

Investigators who were reported to have worked on the case stated that Turzyn was arrested after he met with a 13-year-old girl he allegedly met on Tinder. Turzyn was reported to have engaged in an illegal sexual act with the minor, as well as assaulting her. The incident was reported shortly after it occurred and Turzyn was immediately arrested.

Police stated that the suspect has been arraigned and transported to Saratoga County Jail, where he is being held on $3,000 bail. No further information concerning this incident has been made available at this time.
