Buffalo, NY (March 20, 2019) – On Wednesday, March 20th, police arrested a Buffalo photographer after prosecutors stated that he had engaged in sexual contact with a minor. 43-year-old Delshawn Trueheart has been charged for possession of child pornography in addition to the charges for engaging in sexual activity with a child under 16-years-old.

Federal prosecutors stated that this arrest comes after the victim told Buffalo Police about the abuse she had endured. The victim stated that Trueheart engaged her sexually at his photography studio and home located on East Delevan Avenue. Trueheart also allegedly took pornographic photos of the girl and recorded video of a sexual encounter.

The incidents in question occurred at a time when the victim was between the ages of 15 and 17-years-old. If convicted, Trueheart could face up to 10 years in prison, as well as a fine of $250,000.
