Varick, NY – Driver Ticketed Following Car Accident on State Route 96
Varick, NY (March 16, 2019) – The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car accident that took place along State Route 96 and caused injuries to one party. The accident took place on Thursday around 4:30 a.m. in Varick.
Police discovered that the driver responsible for the accident had been driving with a revoked license. 57-year-old Ellen Parshall had been traveling north on Route 96 when she was involved in an accident and her vehicle overturned in a ditch.
Parshall was the only person who was injured in the accident. She was taken to the hospital with injuries but is expected to recover.
One individual was ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation. At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
