Rochester, NY – Woman Arrested Following Injurious Hit-and-Run Crash

Rochester, NY (March 15, 2019) – Early on Friday morning, March 15, police were called to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian and a hit-and-run driver. According to authorities, 33-year-old Brittany Sibley struck a male pedestrian while driving in the area of Meigs Street and Caroline Street in the city of Rochester before fleeing the scene.

Dispatchers reported that the accident happened at around 12:30 a.m. as they promptly sent police and paramedics to the aforementioned location. Paramedics immediately transported the injured man to a nearby hospital where he was treated for injuries that were considered non-life-threatening. He has since been released.

A short time after the collision, police located Sibley for leaving the scene of a personal injury and property damage accident, as well as harassment. The events that led to this incident are likely to be under investigation at this time. No further information has been released.
