Buffalo, NY – Pedestrian Sideswiped and Injured at Intersection of Genesee and Moselle
Buffalo, NY (March 13, 2019) – A woman was struck and injured by a motor vehicle at or near the intersection of Genesee Street and Moselle Street on Tuesday night, March 13th. Police were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident which occurred for unclear reasons around 10:00 p.m.
According to authorities, the victim, who has only been identified as a 25-year-old woman, was sideswiped by an unspecified vehicle. The victim was reported to have fallen to the ground due to the impact of the collision, at which point the driver ran over both of the victims’ hands.
Police and paramedics immediately arrived at the scene where the victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center to be treated for her injuries. Authorities have not stated whether or not the driver has been arrested, as an investigation into the incident is ongoing at this time.
