New Brighton, Staten Island, NY (March 11, 2019) – A small fire that broke out an apartment building was reported to have resulted in the hospitalization of one person who suffered burns, according to the FDNY. The incident was stated to have happened at an unspecified time on Monday, March 11th, at an apartment located in New Brighton.
Dispatchers sent police, along with fire crews and paramedics, to the scene of the blaze at 388 Richmond Terrace. Paramedics who responded to the call confirmed that they had transported one patient to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. The victim has been reported to be in serious condition at this time.
