Hauppauge, NY – Detectives Investigating Fatal Crash on Wheeler Road
Hauppauge, NY (March 2, 2019) – Suffolk County Police continue their investigation into a fatal crash that took the life of a woman on Friday.
At the time of the accident, a woman had been driving a 2003 Nissan Murano southbound on Wheeler Road when she was involved in an accident in front of 428 Wheeler Road. She struck a utility pole when her vehicle went off the side of the road.
The woman has not been identified but police say that she was pronounced deceased at the scene. The vehicle was then impounded for a safety check.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
