Manhattan, NY (February 28, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon, February 27, a man was reported to have been struck and killed by a train at the West 155th Street subway station around 4:30 p.m.

According to authorities, a man was reported to have walking along the platform when he fell onto the tracks for reasons that have not been stated. An incoming D train then struck the man, causing severely fatal injuries. Emergency medical crews who arrived at the scene tragically pronounced the man dead.

At this time, the victims’ identity has not been released, pending notification of kin. Authorities who arrived at the scene stated that the incident is currently under investigation. No further details have been provided.
