Penfield, NY – At Least One Hurt in Car Crash on Plank Road
Penfield, NY (February 27, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon, February 27, police were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that happened at 2:16 p.m. for reasons that are currently undetermined. Authorities stated that the crash occurred in the east and westbound lanes of Plank Road at Empire Boulevard.
According to dispatchers, emergency medical crews were also sent to the crash site in order to render aid to any victims. After arriving at the scene, paramedics were able to confirm that at least one person suffered injuries in the crash; however, the severity of the victims’ wounds has not been stated at this time.
Police have not provided any information concerning the number of people in the accident, although no more than two vehicles are currently believed to have been involved. The events that led to this incident are likely under investigation at this time. No further information has been released.
