Soho, Manhattan, NY – Man Injured but Alive Following Fall Down Elevator Shaft
Soho, Manhattan, NY (February 26, 2019) – On Tuesday morning, February 26, an incident was reported in which an elevator operator fell down a four-story shoot. The accident, which one would rightfully believe to have been fatal, was stated to have only ended in injuries.
The incident was reported to have occurred around 8:00 a.m. at a building located on Mulberry Street. The injured victim, identified only as a 49-year-old man, was stated to have stepped into the elevator when he plunged four stories to the basement.
Emergency medical crews immediately transported the victim, who was still conscious, to Bellevue Hospital. At this time, his injuries have been described as non-life-threatening.
