Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, NY – Livery Car Involved in Hit-and-Run that Injured 28-Year-Old Man at 47th and 10th
Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, NY (February 19, 2019) – The driver of a livery car kept going after striking a man and leaving him in critical condition around 11:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, according to authorities.
Police stated that the 28-year-old victim was struck at the intersection of 47th Street and 10th Avenue after leaving a bar in the area. The vehicle that hit the man was described as a black livery car with TLC plates, as the incident was witnessed by several people. One of the witnesses stated that the car involved made a left turn down 48th Street after the accident.
Witnesses called 911, which prompted police and emergency medical crews to the scene. The victim was reported to have suffered head injuries as a result of the accident. No arrests have been made as police are actively looking for the vehicle involved as part of their investigation into the incident.
