Chili, NY – Three-Vehicle Accident Caused by Rear-End on Scottsville Road
Chili, NY (February 16, 2019) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of a three-vehicle accident in the 1600 block of Scottsville Road around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon.
At the time, one person had been traveling north on Scottsville Road when they were rear-ended. Their vehicle swerved into the opposite lane, where it struck a pickup truck and immediately flipped over.
One of the passengers in the vehicle, identified only as a 32-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
Since the accident, the roadway was closed between Ballantyne Road and Paul Road. It has since reopened, according to police.
