Byron, NY – Three Injured in Rear-End Accident on North Bergen Road Involving Manure Spreader
Byron, NY (February 16, 2019) – Police reported that three people were injured in a rear-end accident on Friday after a work van and a manure spreader collided.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said that the accident took place around 7:07 p.m. on North Bergen Road, when a van rear-ended the spreader, causing the spreader to be separated from the tractor and come to rest in the middle of the roadway.
The driver of the van was identified as Richard White, who was transported to the Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to be okay. His passenger, identified as Paul Tuttle, was transported to the hospital as well, and is in guarded condition.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
