Bay Shore, NY – Unlicensed Teen Causes Pedestrian Accident on Union Boulevard
Bay Shore, NY (February 17, 2019) – A teen who was driving without a license struck a man in a pedestrian accident that took place early Saturday night on Union Boulevard.
Police were called to the scene of an accident around 6:10 p.m., when a 58-year-old man was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street near First Avenue. The identity of the man was not released, but he was quickly transported to the hospital with injuries.
The 16-year-old driver of the car, whose name also has not been released, was not injured. His two 15-year-old male passengers were okay as well. He was issued with a court summons for driving without a license.
At this time, police continue their investigation of the accident.
