Buffalo, NY – Police Officer Hurt in Motor Vehicle Accident near Interstate
Buffalo, NY (February 13, 2019) – On Wednesday, February 13, a vehicle was reported to have crashed into a patrol car for reasons that have yet to be determined. The accident was reported to have happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Griswold Street and the entrance to the I-90 southbound.
According to authorities, the crash occurred when the patrol car was stopped in the area and another vehicle slammed into the car. Weather conditions may have played a role, however, those details have not been verified at this time.
Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene where they were reported to have transported the officer to a nearby hospital. The condition of the officer has not been stated. At this time, police are likely looking into the events that led to this incident in order to determine liability.
