Gates, NY – At Least One Person Hurt in Car Accident on Lyell Avenue
Gates, NY (February 11, 2019) – Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Monday afternoon, February 11, which resulted in injuries. According to police, the collision, which is currently believed to have involved no more than two vehicles, happened at around 12:17 p.m.
Police and paramedics were sent to the crash site at the intersection of Lyell Avenue and Matilda Street in the town of Gates to evaluate the accident and render aid to any victims. Emergency medical crews were able to confirm that at least one person had been hurt, however, there has been no word concerning the condition of that victim.
An investigation by police revealed that a 19-year-old woman hit a parked car in the parking lot of Smokin’ Joe’s Bar and Grill, bumped into the building, and then struck a second vehicle with two people inside. All three were transported to the hospital.
