Queens, NY – Driver and Officer Injured in Car Accident in Queens
Queens, NY (February 10, 2019) – In Queens around 1 a.m. this morning, a car accident took place at the intersection of 225th Street and South Conduit Avenue that caused injuries in two.
At the time, an SUV and a police car collided with one another, which caused injuries to both the driver and officer involved. Both vehicles had been traveling south at the time when they collided for reasons that are not yet known.
Nobody has confirmed whether or not the vehicle had its lights and sirens on at the time of the incident. The officer and driver were both treated and then transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries.
At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
