Fairport, NY – Car Accident on West Church Street Results in Injuries
Fairport, NY (February 8, 2018) – On Friday afternoon, February 8, police responded to a call concerning a motor vehicle collision that took place on West Church Street in the town of Fairport. According to authorities, the accident happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. for reasons that are currently undetermined.
Dispatchers reported that they sent police and paramedics to the scene of the crash in both the east and westbound lanes of West Church Street at South Avenue to assist any victims and evaluate the collision. Emergency medical responders were able to confirm that at least one person had been hurt, however, there has been no word concerning the extent of injuries. The number of people involved in the crash is unknown.
